Through ongoing safety training and open dialogue, STARLUX fosters a positive safety culture. Guided by the STARLUX Safety Policy, which is reviewed and refined annually, we ensure that flight safety and service excellence go hand in hand.
Safety is Our Attitude
STARLUX Airlines continuously promotes safety education and training.
Safety Culture Survey
To better understand employees’ perceptions and attitudes toward the company’s safety culture, and to comprehensively assess its current status, STARLUX Airlines conducts a Safety Culture Survey every two years. The survey covers all flight operation–related departments, including the Corporate Safety Office, Flight Operations Division, Integrated Operations Control Center, Maintenance & Engineering Division, Cabin Crew Division, Airport Operations Division, Ground Handling Division, Cargo Division, and overseas station managers. The survey is conducted anonymously to ensure candid and authentic responses.
In the 2024 survey, a total of 2,069 questionnaires were collected, of which 1,774 were valid, achieving an effective response rate of 86%. The questionnaire included 25 evaluation indicators measured on a 5-point Likert scale (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree). Based on the total scores, safety culture was categorized into three levels:
Proactive Safety Culture
93–125
Bureaucratic Safety Culture
59–92
Poor Safety Culture
25–58
The 2024 survey results show that STARLUX Airlines achieved an average score of 107.3, with all indicators scoring above 4 points on the 5-point scale. This clearly reflects that the company has established a Proactive Safety Culture. The results have been reported to the Safety Review Committee (SRC) as an important reference for safety policy development and promotion activities. Moving forward, the company will continue conducting the survey every two years to monitor progress and reinforce its proactive safety culture.
