In 2025, STARLUX’s waste mainly consisted of general waste and general industrial waste. The total waste volume for the year was 1,326.627 tons, an increase of 318.957 tons from 1,007.670 tons in 2024. This growth of approximately 31.65% was mainly due to the expansion of operational sites and an increase in headcount. Despite the increase in total waste volume alongside the growth of the scale of operations, waste intensity remained consistent with 2024 at TWD0.03 million of revenue/ton of waste generated, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Company’s continuous control of waste generation efficiency during the operational expansion. 

For general waste, domestic waste accounted for 923.430 tons, or approximately 69.61% of total waste; recycled resources accounted for 277.184 tons, or approximately 20.90%, indicating a significant increase from 120.590 tons in 2024 and reflecting an improvement in resource recycling capacity. Regarding general industrial waste, the waste wooden pallets totaled 10.432 tons, accounting for approximately 0.79% of the total general industrial waste. Scrapped items (expired aircraft spare parts and consumables) amounted to 115.581 tons, representing about 8.71% of the total general industrial waste. This was a significant increase from the 0.100 tons recorded in 2024 and was mainly due to the expansion of operational scale and enhanced management requirements for spare parts and consumables.
